How to update multiple languages ROM for Xiaomi Mobile Phone
Method 1. The upgrade method
Flashing full MIUI ROM pack on the phone (This part applies to all the xiaomi phone models.). Download necessary files to prepare for flashing MIUI ROM
Note: Flashing a newer version of MIUI ROM doesn’t need to wipe data, but flashing an older one does.
STEP 1
Download the multilingual MIUIROM. If you have downloaded the latest installation pack, there is no need to download it again.
STEP 2
Connect your phone to the computer, and put the ROM file to the folder downloaded_rom in the SD card. Open Updater on the launcher, press the Menubutton – Select installation file. STEP 3

Method 2. Updating zip file in Recovery
Please make sure that your phone has enough power.

Download the multilingual MIUI ROM. Operate on the computer, rename the zip file as update.zip, and copy it to the root directory of the SD card. The update.zip copied from SD card to internal storage

Enter Updater, press the Menu button, and select Reboot to recovery mode. Another way to enter recovery mode: turn off the phone, press the Volume+ key and the Power button at the same time, wait until the screen wakes.

Xiaomi have added a great looking geometric 3D-looking pattern on to the front speaker grill, replacing the minimalist white grill on the original version. They’ve beefed up the speakers to dual 2.5W drivers, rather than the two 1.8W drivers in the original. This means the new model should be capable of pumping out more power. The rest of the specs seem to be unchanged, with the speaker retaining it’s Bluetooth 4.0 compatibility and in-built 1200mAh battery that should hit the rated 10 hours. Xiaomi Bluetooth speaker can be charged by Micro USB cable or 5V AC adapter, no matter what way you use, it does not support charging in playing music, and it only plays when it is not charging.
Though the manual is entirely in Chinese, using the Xiaomi Bluetooth speaker is incredibly easy. No charger or cables are provided, but as the device charges via micro USB, most should have a spare charger lying around. Rubber feet underneath the device prevent the speaker from vibrating the surface it’s on to keep audio clean and minimize distortion. Just turn it on by holding down the power button down and select “Mi Bluetooth Speaker” in the Bluetooth menu on your smartphone or other Bluetooth-compatible audio source to pair.

Photo Gallery Xiaomi Mi WiFi router new firmware version released
These days Xiaomi released a new stable firmware version for Mi WiFi Router: 2.10.13 (31.8 MB). The previous stable firmware version was 2.8.19. The firmware for Xiaomi Mi WiFi Mini Router is still at 2.4.9 stable version.
Download latest Android application for Xiaomi Mi Router v.2.2.9 from here. (13 MB). Tip: to use the application in English, make sure that your device system language is English. If not, the application will start in Chinese. It looks like this newer version is chinese only.
